Can I bring my dog?
Animals are not allowed inside the refuge, dogs must be kept on a leash outside on all trails and paths in the Beaufortain.
Can I access the refuge by car?
The access road to the refuge is closed to traffic, so you will need to leave your vehicle in one of the parking lots along the county road, a 10-minute walk from our place. If you are unable to make this journey on foot, you can call us so that we can give you further directions.
Are the cabin and restaurant open all year round?
We are open every year from mid-June to mid-September. For winter hikes, contact our neighbors at Plan de la Lai.
Where is the English telephone booth overlooking Roselend Dam?
The phone booth is a 10-minute walk from our house (20 minutes from the parking lot). You will need to follow the trail to Mora’s cabin, then turn right onto the path that leads to the cabin, the only place in the valley with cell phone reception.
How to make a reservation at the refuge?
Reservations for half-board (dormitory or campsite) can only be made via our website. If you are unable to make a reservation, it is likely that we are already fully booked.
Is the refuge suitable for hosting e-MTBs?
We have enough electricity for you to recharge your bikes and a locked space for overnight storage. You can specify your requirements in the comments section of the booking form.
Can I charge devices at the shelter?
You can recharge your devices and electric bikes.
What time should we plan to arrive at the shelter?
If you have booked half board, please plan your day so that you arrive before 6 p.m. This will give you the opportunity to settle in quietly before dinner is served at 7 p.m.
Is there cell phone reception at Plan Mya?
There is no phone or internet network at the refuge, as is the case in many mountain locations. Remember to make reservations and inform your loved ones of your itinerary whenever possible. The closest network access point to the refuge is located about a 10-minute walk away, near the English telephone booth.
Can I bring my own lunch box for the picnic?
You may bring your own container for the mixed salads in the lunch boxes. Please remember to let us know when you make your reservation.
What should I bring for sleeping?
The beds in the dormitory are equipped with duvets and pillows, as well as single-use pillowcases. We ask that you bring your own sleeping bag liner (sheet bag). You may also bring a sleeping bag.
What time are meals served?
Dinner is served at 7 p.m., so please plan your day so that you arrive at least one hour beforehand to have time to settle in. Breakfast is served at 7 a.m. For organizational reasons, we ask that you vacate the dormitories by 8:30 a.m.
How can I pay on site?
Please bring cash or a checkbook to pay on site.
What are the cancellation terms?
You can consult our general terms and conditions of sale. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future reservation or to the remainder of the reservation if the cancellation only affects part of it.
